Michigan honors Apple with prestigious 4-H award

Michigan State University has awarded Apple the prestigious Michigan 4-H Citation Award for its efforts in bringing technology to young people in education. Apple has been working with the 4-H organization since 2019 through its Community Education Initiative. The company has also established a Detroit Developer Academy and worked with the University of Michigan on hearing studies that led to new functionality in the AirPods Pro 2. Apple has been a partner in the 4-H Clovers CODE program since 2022, providing MacBooks, iPads, scholarships, and professional development opportunities. The award recognizes Apple's commitment to improving the lives of Michigan 4-H'ers and increasing technology access to underserved communities. Apple's Community Education Initiative has expanded to 600 global communities since its creation in 2019.
