OnePlus 13 Might Be the First Flagship Android Phone with MagSafe-like Charging

The OnePlus 13 might finally change that, though, with some form of MagSafe-like charging.

The OnePlus 13 might be the first flagship Android phone to feature MagSafe-like charging, as hinted by a post from OnePlus China president Louis Lee. The Qi2 standard, which adds magnetic charging capabilities similar to Apple's MagSafe, was announced in 2023 and has been supported by iPhones since then. So far, only one Android phone, the mid-range HMD Skyline, has added support for Qi2. The timing of the OnePlus 13 launch aligns with expectations that new smartphones would begin integrating this technology.
