OnePlus Watch 3 Resurfaces with a Shocking 50% Price Surge

OnePlus Watch 3 Returns with a Significant Price Hike
The OnePlus Watch 3, which was initially announced in February with a compelling package of upgraded hardware, a 5-day battery life (120 hours), and enhanced health features, is now available for purchase. However, the watch has experienced a significant price increase.
Delayed Launch and Price Adjustment
The launch of the OnePlus Watch 3 was delayed due to a typo on the bottom of the casing that read 'Meda in China.' This mistake led to free returns being offered and the release date being pushed back. Initially, the watch was priced at $329, with early buyers receiving it for $299 after a $30 discount.
New Price: $499.99
Now, the OnePlus Watch 3 is available for $499.99, representing a price hike of over 50% from the original retail price and over 65% from the early-bird offer. Despite inquiries to OnePlus about the price change, the company declined to comment further.
Possible Reason: US Tariffs
The significant price increase is likely due to ongoing high tariffs on products imported from China. While other OnePlus devices have not seen similar price adjustments, the Watch 3 is subject to these tariffs as it is manufactured in China.
