Orico 20Plus MagPro iPhone SSD Review: Innovative Design, Hindered by iOS Limitations

The Orico 20Plus MagPro Magnetic iPhone Portable SSD is a speedy-enough SSD for your iPhone but it's let down by the iPhone's Files app.

The Orico 20Plus MagPro Magnetic iPhone Portable SSD is a speedy-enough SSD for your iPhone, let down by Apple's Files app. It attaches to the back of an iPhone using built-in MagSafe wireless charging magnets and can be used to record media externally without getting in the way.

Available in 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB options, it fits on the back of all current-generation iPhones without going over the edges, and also comes with a magnetic ring for attaching it to the back of a MacBook screen. It claims speeds of up to 20Gbps (with a max speed of 10 Gbps on Pro models of iPhone), but this reviewer found the Files app very limiting in its functionality.
