A temporary outage affected multiple Apple services, including an outright outage of AppleCare on devices that impacted 50% of users. The issues started at around 6:21 p.m. EST Tuesday and were resolved by 9:43 p.m. the same day. Apple Business Essentials, Apple Business Manager, and Apple School Manager also experienced disruptions, with two separate issues occurring, one earlier Thursday from 9:12 a.m. to 10:33 a.m., and another during the same period as the AppleCare outage. The AppleCare on Device system is used for managing AppleCare plans.
