Threads to Show Online Status to Other Users, But It's Optional
Threads, Meta's microblogging platform, has introduced a new feature that allows other users to see when you're online on the platform.

Meta's microblogging platform Threads will soon show when users are online, according to Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri who is also head of Threads. The opt-in feature aims to encourage engagement by making it easier to have real-time conversations. Users can disable the activity status in their settings; however, doing so will also prevent them from seeing other people's statuses.
