TikTok Defies Trump, Declares Commitment to US Market

TikTok has reassured advertisers that it is committed to staying in the US market, despite ongoing uncertainty surrounding its legal status. The company made this statement during a presentation to top US advertisers, including Unilever and other major brands. TikTok's vice president of global business solutions, Khartoon Weiss, emphasized the platform’s confidence in its future and introduced new advertising tools designed to help marketers leverage viral trends, Super Bowl ads, and search queries on the app. This move comes after a series of legal actions, including a ban enacted by Congress and an executive order from President Trump that temporarily paused enforcement of the ban. Apple initially removed TikTok from the App Store but later reinstated it following guarantees from the Department of Justice.
