Verizon has extended the timeline for shutting down its Message+ app by another month, now set for December 9, 2024. The carrier had previously announced it would kill the app in early November in favor of transitioning users to Google Messages. When Message+ does shut down, users will no longer be able to send or receive messages through the app, and any scheduled messages past December 9 will not be sent. Verizon has not officially commented on the delay.
