Verizon Shuts Down Message+ App, Urges Users to Switch to Google Messages
In a rather unsurprising move, Verizon Messages (Message+) is shutting down in November and Android users are encouraged to use Google Messages instead.

Verizon is shutting down its Message+ app in favor of migrating users to Google Messages, which offers a more modern and interactive messaging experience through Rich Communications Service (RCS). The deprecation process began on Wednesday and will be fully completed by November 7, 2024. Verizon encourages users to switch to Google Messages.
