Virgin Atlantic Enables Smooth Lost Luggage Recovery with AirTag's New Sharing Feature

Virgin Atlantic has announced support for a new feature introduced in iOS 18.2 that allows travelers to share the location of their lost luggage via AirTags with airlines. This integration aims to facilitate faster recovery of misplaced items. To use this feature, passengers must follow these steps: access the 'Find My' app on their iPhone, select the AirTag associated with the lost luggage, generate a sharable link, and then add that link to Virgin Atlantic's WorldTracer Customer Portal while managing an existing missing bag report. The article also notes that other airlines like Delta and United already support this feature, but major U.S. carriers such as American Airlines, Southwest, and JetBlue have yet to implement it.
