World's First Foldable E-ink Reader Unveiled by mooInk: A Game-Changer in Digital Reading

Introduction Chinese e-reader manufacturer mooInk has unveiled the world's first foldable e-ink reader, the mooInk V. This innovative device features an 8-inch e-ink display with a resolution of 300 ppi and can handle over 50,000 shades of color. The design incorporates pad bending technology to support narrow bezels, making it lightweight at about 255 grams.
Design and Features

It can be used fully unfolded or at a 90-degree angle, offering two reading angles that mimic the feel of a traditional paper book. The device's display technology ensures high readability and color depth, enhancing the overall reading experience.
Development History
mooInk has been working on this concept for nine years, emphasizing their commitment to innovation in e-reader technology. While some of mooInk’s other devices run on Android, it is not yet confirmed if the mooInk V will also use this operating system.
Availability and Future Prospects
The company has not disclosed pricing or release dates for the mooInk V. However, the introduction of this foldable e-ink reader opens up new possibilities in the e-reader market, and we can expect more innovations in this category in the future.
