Adobe has expanded access to its AI video generator, Firefly, allowing anyone to create free 5-second video clips in 1080p HD. Users can generate videos using text descriptions or by uploading images, including AI-generated images from Text to Image. Adobe emphasizes the IP-friendly and commercially safe nature of Firefly, which supports multi-modal creation with features like video, image, and vector generation, as well as audio translation into multiple languages. Additionally, Adobe has introduced two new paid plans—Firefly Standard and Firefly Pro—for creating longer clips and working at higher resolutions. These plans include unlimited access to imaging and vector features, with tiered capacity for premium video and audio functionalities. A future offering, Firefly Premium, will cater to high-volume creators with even more audio and video capacity.
