Apple Considers Multiple Paths for Future Vision Pro Hardware
Facing competition from Meta's improving Quest headset line, Apple is considering multiple paths for the future of its Vision Pro hardware, including creating a more affordable model or transitioning towards smart glasses.

Apple is reportedly considering various options for its Apple Vision Pro hardware lineup following competition from Meta's Quest 3S headset. According to Bloomberg, the Apple Vision Products Group is evaluating different courses of action. The options include maintaining a premium model while introducing a cheaper version, transforming it into a smart display or developing smart glasses without the glasses element. Tim Cook apparently dreams of creating AR glasses with high-performance lenses and cameras built within standard frames.
