Apple Watch is reportedly set to upgrade its cellular connectivity from LTE to 5G with a rumored switch to MediaTek modems, according to reliable Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman. The change could appear in an upcoming round of Apple Watch models and will mark the first time that Apple Watch has used hardware from MediaTek.
