Apple Watches Locked Up by watchOS 11.1 Beta Update

Apple has pulled the developer beta watchOS 11.1 after it was found to be causing some Apple Watches to freeze and require constant restarts. It's not clear how widespread this issue is, but reports appear to have begun immediately following the release of the beta on October 1st, 2024. This follows previous incidents where Apple has had to withdraw updates due to severe problems.
