Apple's Supplier for Ultra-Thin iPhone 17 Air Display Possibly Found
Apple is prepping a significant new generation of iPhone for 2025, headlined by the expected iPhone 17 Air. A new report could point to the technology and supplier that will make an ultra-thin iPhone possible.

A new report suggests that Apple may have found a supplier for the thin iPhone 17 Air display. Novatek, Taiwan's leading display driver IC manufacturer, plans to commence mass production of its OLED TDDI technology as early as the second quarter of 2025. This aligns with the expected fall launch of the iPhone 17 Air. One benefit of OLED TDDI is that it enables thinner screens, making it a perfect fit for the ultra-slim iPhone 17 Air.
