Fossil Gen 6 Watches Receive Surprise Wear OS Update

About a year after its last update, Fossil Gen 6 watches are receiving a new Wear OS patch. The update brings devices to the April 2024 security patch, even though Fossil announced earlier this year that it was done making Wear OS smartwatches. With Wear OS 3.5, users will still receive app updates from Google and third-parties, but Fossil devices are now two major versions behind.
