Huawei Unfurls the World's First and Largest Tri-Fold Phone, Mate XT, Globally (Except US)

Huawei Launches World's First Commercially Available Tri-Fold Phone, the Mate XT
Huawei has announced that its revolutionary tri-fold smartphone, the Mate XT, is now available worldwide, excluding the US. The device features a unique design with two hinges, transforming from a 6.4-inch smartphone to a 7.9-inch screen and finally into a 10.2-inch tablet-like display. This innovative form factor allows users to experience three distinct viewing modes, making it the first commercially available tri-fold phone.
Huawei highlights that the Mate XT is not only the largest tri-fold device currently on the market but also the thinnest when unfolded, measuring just 3.6mm thick. When folded, it stands at 10.8mm thick. The company has been praised for its engineering prowess, as other major players like Samsung are still in the conceptual stages of similar devices.
The Mate XT's global release marks a significant step forward in the evolution of foldable technology, offering consumers an entirely new way to interact with their mobile devices.
