Huawei’s new foldable phone, the Pura X, blends elements of both flip and book-style designs. Announced in China on March 20, 2025, this device features a 6.3-inch internal display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, which is wider than typical flip phones but not as square as book-style foldables. The outer cover display measures 3.5 inches and can be used for basic tasks. The Pura X supports both portrait and landscape orientations, though it’s primarily intended to be opened like a flip phone. It is powered by a 4,720 mAh battery and starts at CNY 7,499 (approximately $1,037 USD) in China. Global release details have not been announced yet.
