Plex Unveils Drastic Redesign for iPhone App

Plex has announced a major update for its iPhone app, featuring a dramatic redesign with changes to navigation and more artwork. The app has been completely rewritten from the ground up, Structurally, the new design focuses on revamping the navigation system and bringing visual richness with expanded use of artwork throughout the interface. The update also unifies its platforms across a single codebase for faster updates and new features.
In addition to the cosmetic changes and new features, Plex has introduced title artwork for movies and shows and a dedicated “My Library” tab for users who manage their own media library.
The new design will be available as an early-access preview starting today with plans to launch it to the general public in 2025.
