The Beats Pill is back and better than ever: Hands-on with the revived iconic speaker

The Beats Pill is back and better than ever, with improved sound quality, battery life, connectivity, and USB-C charging. It's available for $149.99, a significant price cut from its predecessor.

The new Beats Pill is a completely redesigned and reengineered version of the iconic wireless speaker, retaining its pill-shaped design with several improvements including better sound quality, improved battery life (24 hours), USB-C charging, water and dust resistance, and integrated lanyard for portability.

It measures 21.9 cm x 7.1 cm x 7.0 cm, is 10% lighter than the previous Beats Pill+, offers one-touch pairing with iPhone and Android support including iCloud pairing, Find My Device integration, and more.

The speaker features custom Beats silicon inside for cross-compatibility between iOS and Android devices, allowing users to enjoy lossless audio playback via USB-C connection with a max sample rate of 48 kHz/24-bit.

The new Beats Pill retails for $149.99 which is $80 cheaper than the launch price of its predecessor back in 2015 and is available to order today.
