Waymo One Revs Up for Driverless Rides in Washington DC Next Year

Waymo plans to launch its fully autonomous ride-hailing service in Washington DC, starting sometime in 2026. The company has been testing its vehicles in the city since December 2023 and is currently laying the groundwork for a broader rollout. Waymo One is already operational in several cities, including San Francisco, Phoenix, Los Angeles, and Austin, with upcoming expansions planned for Atlanta and Miami.
